MCP tools help an agent prepare a strong list. Publishing remains an explicit creator and editorial action inside Extro.
- Create a focused list.
Use a clear search intent such as “Best cocktail bars in Manhattan” or “Three days in New York for a first visit.”
- Add useful recommendations.
Every item needs a reason to be included, accurate location details, a suitable image, and a current primary source.
- Order the recommendations.
Use itinerary order for trip guides and ranked order only when the editorial reasoning supports it.
- Submit in Extro.
The list creator uses Extro's publishing action to generate a guide draft. Private lists never become indexable automatically.
- Review and publish.
An editor checks claims, images, links, title, description, canonical URL, and structured metadata before publication.
What makes a guide agent-readable?
- A direct answer near the top
- Explicit city, neighborhood, dates, price, and reservation guidance
- Ordered recommendations with reasons and tradeoffs
- Alternatives for weather, availability, budget, and traveler type
- A verified date and stable canonical URL
- A clear action to save or customize the underlying Extro list
There is currently no public MCP tool that publishes a guide. An agent can build the source list; the creator and Extro editorial workflow control public publication.
